115 The Mirrors Labyrinth, model and overview, 2015, bare concrete, wooden pergolas and glass mirrors; Left: Plan for the Labyrinth, overview and perspective, 2015 The Mirrors Labyrinth was a proposal for an optical space inviting an experience of illusory reality. Built as a peripheral corridor its truncated corners have fixed mirrors, which create a horizontal periscope. Four towers in the labyrinth’s internal part, face the four heavenly winds and form vertical periscopes, bringing the distant landscape inside the structure. The visitor walks in this illusory visual space created by the corridor and periscopes, finally reaching the internal courtyard with a central floor mirror reflecting the skies.
